January’s Pack Meeting will be the Pinewood Derby!
Parents and other family members are welcome to race cars in our Heritage Cup Race after the scouts are finished racing. All cars must pass the same inspection and the cost is $5 to enter. More information will be posted as we get closer to the event.
The Blue and Gold Ceremony is when our scouts transition from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA. If a Scout earned their Arrow of Light (the highest rank of Cub Scouts) they cross over into a troop of their choosing. If they choose not to continue in scouts, they cross to their families. It is their Graduation from the Cub Scout ranks.
All leaders are encouraged to attend leader meetings. At these meetings we discuss upcoming events and make decisions related to the pack. If you are unable to attend, please reach out to one of the other leaders to find out what information was discussed.
New leaders, we meet upstairs at the church, not in the room where pack meetings are held.
Please join us to learn what scouting has to offer, meet some of the current leaders, and ask any questions that you may have.
Due to the rain we will not be meeting in the Sonrise Garden. Please meet us in the basement of the church. Please park in the large parking lot across the street from the church (by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce) and cross at the crosswalk.
If you’d like a hand cutting your car for this year’s Pinewood Derby, stop by and spend some time with the pack at American Business Telephone & Technologies, 1651 Tolland Turnpike in Manchester.
NOTE: This event was rescheduled from Saturday 1/5 to Sunday 1/6 at 2:00pm. Thanks!
